• Account data — your name, username, email and a securely hashed password.
• Content — the questions, answers, comments, votes and profile details you choose to share.
• Security data — limited login and request metadata (like IP address and device) used to prevent abuse and secure your account.

How we use it

• To run the service: publishing your content, powering your feed and notifications.
• To keep Nobink safe: rate limiting, fraud and abuse prevention, and moderation.
• To send essential emails such as one-time verification codes and account notices.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. We use no SMS providers and no third-party AI services in this version; verification is by email only.

Security

• Passwords are hashed with a strong algorithm and are never stored or shown in plain text.
• Verification codes are single-use, short-lived and stored only as hashes.
• Sessions are httpOnly and can be revoked; changing your password logs out every device.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete your content, or request account deletion at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal profile data; some content may be retained in anonymized form where needed for integrity.
